When the cigar rollers start rolling the cigars, they use the same tobacco & wrapper as firsts but when the product is finished and the high standards of the manufacturer are applied to the selection, small imperfections are found. These become cigars seconds.

The imperfections are rarely noticeable to the naked eye, but the tobacco used is the same as those labeled under their brand names.
