Introduced in 2004, the Hybrid has been rated a 90 by Cigar Aficionado and 91 by Cigar Insider. By mixing a Cuban and Connecticut seed specifically for Padilla Cigars, A.S.P. Enterprises and Ernesto Padilla have created this unique hybrid wrapper in Ecuador. It marries the qualities of subtle character found in Connecticut seed, to the fuller bodied profile of Cuban seed. The filler blends Nicaraguan ligero, volado and seco tobaccos with a rarer Peruvian tobacco, for a complex, medium to full-bodied smoking experience. Like other Padilla offerings, the Hybrid line sports a beautiful wrapper, this one a tasty reddish brown.
