My Father Le Bijou 1922 Cigars |
The My Father Le Bijou 1922 is Don Pepin's tribute to his own father, born in 1922. Le Bijou stands for "the jewel", and is a fitting name for these cigars. Every cigar is bound to a Pelo de Oro wrapper leaf (dubbed Nicaraguan Habano Oscuro) and a well-aged full-bodied blend of Nicaraguan tobaccos that gives these cigars a very rich taste with some kick.
Hand Made in Nicaragua - Full Bodied Binder: Nicaragua - Filler: Nicaragua - Wrapper: Nicaraguan Pelo de Oro (Habano Oscuro) Rated 89 by Cigar Aficionado |

The tobacco is good but they all burn unevenly.

I had always liked these, but the quality seems to have gone a little. More loosely rolled and less even burning. I would still buy them again.

Best tasting and longest lasting flavor of the Rollers. And they do not burn hot like some of the other flavors

Loosely rolled, cut it/clip it/punch it, doesn't matter. Gonna be eating leaves after 4-5 puffs. Cheap price, cheap taste.

Cigars arrived on time and were fresh. What didn’t like was your shipping fee. I have ordered from other online retailers and they shipping fee was a lot less or free. Not likely to order from you again.

I am sorry to report that I was very disappointed with these cigars. Many reviewers praised them, so I took a chance on them. My favorite small, inexpensive flavored cigar was the Pirata Pesquenos, which unfortunately are no longer manufactured, so far as anyone can determine. These cigars have very little of the cherry or amaretto flavor. The quality is poor, but that was to be expected when ordered. Since the Piratas mentioned above are no longer available, my suggestion is that, since one gets what one pays for, a smoker who enjoys flavored cigars should opt for Acid Blondie or Drew Estate Java, expensive but worth it.

Great cigars for the price, you get a few that don't burn well but for the price you can't go wrong.

Very disappointed with the ring gauge. These Chicos are a solid 26 and not a 32 as advertised. That is nearly a 20% size discrepancy. However they are a good little smoke. Would I have bought them if they were advertised as 4 3/16" x 26? Not sure. Maybe. But I would not have been disappointed when they arrived.

I really like these small cigars. I find they help me relax which is very helpful these days especially. They are are great value and I usually get the 4-fer deal. I have had some that are too tightly wrapped and have a hard "draw" to them. Those are not ever a large percentage.
