Gurkha Legend Vintage 2001 Toro is a beautiful cigar made using an extensively aged mixture of Cuban-seed long-fillers grown in the Dominican's famed Cibao Valley, followed by a dark, triple-fermented Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper. The result is a buttery-smooth bouquet that hits the palate with power, yielding a rich creaminess throughout, which is complemented by notes of dark chocolate, leather, and black espresso bean. The finish is long and memorable, yielding peppery-sweet nuances after each puff; medium to full bodied and complex to the core.
